This city is my home, construction noise all day long and gutter punks are bumming change.

I might be slightly overdressed for a high school talent show.
My Friday night will be spent at my old high school, watching my baby brother in some sort of dance performance, I can only assume. To say I’m not excited would be an understatement (for the location, I’m super excited for him). It’s not that I hated high school. I didn’t, really. I just wasn’t thrilled about it either. It was just whatever. I pretty much made no effort to do anything spectacular, except for my one attempt at landing the lead role in The Wizard of Oz (which I didn’t get).
Since then, I’ve also made just about no effort to keep in touch with anyone, except for my small group of close friends. As I’ve gotten older, I actually dislike people I went to school with more than I did when I actually went there. Bay Area schools are just a different breed. If I’m going to sit in auditorium of people I potentially know, I’m going to look awesome.
This whole post sounds awful. There are a lot of people I actually did like, I swear. I’m just, you know, kind of an asshole and I don’t like people in general.
GPOYW: February
Finally, February is here. I’ve been waiting for this month to come by so much. It’s so full of amazing events, I even begin to tell you about my excitement. I leave for LA in two days. Emily comes here mid month. There will be parties and concerts and Sharks games, I’m so thankful.
But for today, I have errands to run. I’m being kicked out of my house for the day because the landlord wants to fumigate. Thanks for telling us at 8pm last night, BTW. Whatever, I have places to be anyhow. Hope everyone has an amazing day.
Ps - I got presents in the mail yesterday. I just thought I should tell you guys that. It was awesome.
Pps - Happy Birthday Viri!!!
