I made a moose.

I really need to start crocheting more. I’ve been seriously lagging on all my projects.

I told Kate months ago that I would make her something, and yesterday, I finally got around to doing it. Never say that I can’t keep a promise, even if it takes me forever to get around to it ;)

I made a bear today, for no apparent reason. This is the first crocheted item I’ve made this year. Hopefully this will help me start back up again. 

For Christmas, I finished some crocheted toys for Cliff’s nephew and new baby niece this morning. The airplane turned out much bigger than expected, but oh well. Also, the one with a bear head is a rattle. It jingles and everything. They turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself. I’m sure a 2 year old and a under 6 month old will enjoy them :)

They’re finally finished. The last seven Snitches are complete and are going in the mail today.

Allison already has hers, since I mailed out a large package to her last week, and I made an extra for my boyfriend’s cousin. So I made eight in total. I’m so thankful I’m done with these. I hauled ass last night, getting these done in four hours. Procrastination is the worst, but they’re done now and I can finally relax. Also, you mat notice that I changed the lightning bolt, yet again. I was so unsatisfied with every other one I made that I just scrapped the embroidery all together and replaced it with a basic zig zig. I like it better this way.

Even with all my complaining, I really did enjoy making these. I hope everyone that won one enjoys them, too :)

Keeping busy, making Snitches.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit sick of making these. Mostly due to the time crunch, with all the other holiday things I need to do. I’m getting somewhat stressed. But hey, it’s not worth it if you don’t work a little, right?

Also, you may notice that the lightning bolt is no longer gold. The gold embroidery thread was way too difficult to work with. I felt like my fingers were falling off. So, it’s now an off-white. I don’t like it as much, but I would never finish them if I didn’t make the change. Maybe I’ll just make make it a solid dark red… I don’t know. We’ll see. But for now, it is what it is.
