fckn fantastic
i just logged into my bank account and realized that i was SEVERELY underpaid on my last paycheck. apparently my new pay rate didn’t kick in. i’m going to get this fixed, obviously, but not in time to have to pay my bills next week. now i have to dip into my savings in order to pay my student loans. i haven’t had to dip into my saving the entire time i’ve had this job.

i told myself i wouldn’t think about it this weekened, but i can’t help it.
this year is a year for change. for movement. for progression and expansion. that’s how i see it, at least. and it’s going to start with two things:
finding a new job & moving out of home.
with luck, one will come side by side with the other, but life has taught me that things are never so...

when everything was new and fun and exciting.
when i didn’t care how long it took to get to a venue, how much it cost, how long i had to wait in line to see my favorite bands. when i didn’t care about waiting in the pit, trying to get as close as possible. not caring about how hot and sweaty i was because everyone around me was just as hot and sweaty, even when my feet were screaming...
